Every job we take on, we take seriously. Here's the work we do best — and the work we'll honestly tell you when we're not the right call.

Wall Framing

Stick-built or panelized. Engineered headers, structural sheathing, properly nailed corners.

Floor Systems

Engineered I-joists, LVL beams, blocked subfloors. We follow the plan — and call out problems with the plan when we see them.

Roof Framing

Stick-framed or truss-set roof systems. Ridge vents blocked properly, valley jacks cut to fit.

Additions & Pop-Tops

Tying new framing into existing structure — the hardest part of the job. Header design and load transfer to spec.

Decks & Outdoor

Pressure-treated and PT-cap framing. Code-compliant joist hangers and ledger flashing.

Light Commercial

Restaurant build-outs, retail spaces, professional offices. Steel-stud capable when the plans call for it.

Our Story

Founded in 2007.

Ironwood has been framing custom homes, additions, and light-commercial buildings across Jefferson and Shelby County since 2007. We work for builders we trust and we expect them to work for us.

Our crews frame walls, floors, ceilings, roof systems, dormers, decks, and stair landings. We can read truss layouts, work to engineered drawings, and pre-cut on the trailer when the layout calls for it.

We don't slow projects down. We don't argue with inspectors. And we don't leave a job until the GC walks it and signs off — no callbacks, no list of "oh, by the ways."
