Canvas Sports is our platform for parks and recreation departments, youth leagues, clubs, and tournament operators.
The problem
Local leagues juggle one app for registration, another for schedules, a spreadsheet for standings, and a group chat for scores — and nobody is sure which score is official.
What we built
Programs, registration, teams, facilities, and schedules in one place. On game day a scorekeeper reports from a phone; the league office verifies it, and only then does it publish to standings and a public scoreboard. Film Room HQ, the coaching add-on, turns the same games into film sessions.
How it is built
Next.js and Supabase on Vercel. The difference between “a score someone posted” and “the official score” is built into the data model, not left to a group chat.
